The Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region has acquired and renovated the former St. James Church on North Main Street in Laconia. This new location is the program's first permanent home since its inception as the Belknap County Teen Center in 1999.

The 17,000 square feet of space will feature eight program rooms that will provide space for academic support, art, small group activities and a computer lab. The former 5000 square foot sanctuary will become a Great Room for indoor recreation, drama, dance, music and social events.
